1-2 hours
Nature Learning Center Walk

About This Activity

Located in Shairopa Village, the Nature Learning Center is a beautifully curated model of the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP), offering a walkable introduction to its rich biodiversity. It is perfect for children, elderly people, and those who may not be able to undertake long treks into the actual park.

The walk to the center is around 2 km and takes you through a peaceful forested path. Inside the center, you'll find lifelike statues of animals native to GHNP, such as the Himalayan Tahr, Musk Deer, and even the elusive Snow Leopard. Informative boards explain the ecosystem and importance of conservation.

This experience provides a glimpse into the diverse flora and fauna of the region and serves as an educational and accessible alternative to the more challenging treks inside GHNP.
